Isobune Burlingame
While doing some serious shopping in Burlingame last Tuesday I was in the mood to chase some slow boats – and right in front of me stood Isobune of Burlingame.Soon as we walked in we were greeted immediately, as we proceeded to chow down some serious Sushi.
As we gave the boats a once over, everything looked very fresh, then it was time to start high jacking a few. WAIT, here comes a hot towel, I feel like I’m in Asia.
As we started diving in, I noticed the chef’s were more than accommodating with everyone to whip up any special request.
It didn’t take long before my plates started piling up, very colorful, good thing I’m not the one adding it up. We then ordered some Vegetable Tempura, oh so good, along with my favorites of spicy tuna hand roll, then on to some Sashimi.
As, I’m stuffing my face, I look around and see this cute little sushi house if filling up very quickly on a Tuesday evening.
Overall, service was excellent as we always had some asking if we needed anything, the chefs were very friendly and whipped out some nice work, the Green Tea Ice Cream, was a great way to end our evening.
However, I must admit to our FF readers, I still can’t get the concept of chop sticks. Yes, I know this must sound disappointing to some of you. If there is someone (anyone) who has the patience to teach me over dinner – I want to hear from you – dinners on FF!
