I probably shouldn't be posting this as everyone will want to go there. But its hella cool. Great views of the GG Bridge and it can get cool at night. Big Basin State Park

Finally after living in the bay area for the last 4 years I made it with some friends to Big Basin for a long weekend of much deserved r&r.

Henry Cowell State Park

I've been going here for about 6 years. They have it all including tent cabins with a very warm wood burning stove. Lots of hiking trails within walking distance of most campsites.
