Nothing like waking up the day after your wedding having breakfast in bed in your balcony suite with the skyline of the city. Now all of this does come at a cost . . but it is your wedding. I think our bill was like $7 bills.

Monterey Plaza Hotel

I was recently married in Monterey on the beach, we chose to stay at the Monterey Plaza that night (Saturday) since our flight wasn't leaving until Monday afternoon. It just didn't feel right to go home, so we partied for our reception and enjoyed the spa on Sunday.

This place was awesome, a bit out of our budget, but you only get married once right? right? I only wish we had more than one night.

Located at 41 Tunnel Road in Berkeley - the staff really goes out of their way to make your special day really special. They have a wedding coordinator on site that helps with Rehearsal Dinners and Wedding night accommodations. The suites have great views of the SF Bay. I'll be the first to admit it's not cheap but you will be happy in the end.
