Nice 18-hole course in Sunnyvale on Macara Ave. It certainly has its share of water wholes and bunkers. Pretty scenic and noisy at times on the air traffic coming into the naval air station. Montclair Golf Course

I like they have a cool bar, nice to kick back after and toss a few brews back. Owners are friendly, think it's a husband and wife. Not your Maui course but it's good to hit a bucket of balls at. Weekend is only 9 bucks to play, sometime I just knock out 100 or so balls at the range, good entertainment for 10 bucks.

Stanford Golf Course

Nothing too fancy, just a good ole simple golf course, with a friendly layout. No real high/low extremes on the course, pretty steady. The course is available to some staff, students, members and guest.

Deep Cliff Golf Course

I think I'm now spoiled after playing near the ocean. Incredible views that kind of got in the way of my concentration. I only wish they had a driving range.
