I can't say enough about this playhouse, it's a great venue, close to some nice restaurants. The playhouse offers comfortable seating, affordable ticket prices and most of all some great talent in there productions.

City Lights Theater San Jose

Great Solo Caberet Show, Smoke, with Lori Rivera and Marshall Otwell leading a Jazz Trio. I've seen the show three times and each time I'm blown away. All original and very engaging.
This week it opens at City Lights in San Jose after good runs and reviews in San Francisco, Carmel and Santa Cruz.

Went here with the hubby last night with some friends and saw "Dead Man Walking" - I swear I never knew City Lights existed before. You might just drive by it and never see it like me, but what a jewel it is. Brava Theater Center

Nice venue, seats over 300. A couple of good performances are coming in 2010 - first is Sgt. Casey's Remains and The Three Sisters. This place is a classic in SF.

Theatre on San Pedro Square

This is a great venue in walking distance to plenty of parking and dining. The theatre is located on the second floor that seats maybe 125 people. They have some great performances coming in 2010, my favorite I'm going to see this weekend is the Rocky Horror Musical. Also looking forward to the season that will feature Gershwin's Lady Be Good. ..
