A gorgeous venue, really not a bad seat in this retro beauty. I like the orchestra section, I don't visit that often so when I do, I like to get a close as possible. City Light's Theater

This is an awesome venue in downtown SJ. There's plenty of seating that's very cozy, they offer wine in the lobby prior to the show for a nominal price. I've seen a lot of shows here, my favorite was "Hair" it's great that your up really close to the actors.
Seating is open, so I usually get there maybe 45 minutes early, plenty of p..

Great venue, went with some friends and saw Equivocation - I plan on going back. They produce about a half dozen shows a year. I'm looking for to the production of American Song next.

Just got the line up in the mail for the 10/11 season, some great shows coming like, Burn The Floor, The Color Purple (one of my favorite musicals) Rain (for you Beatle lovers) Grease (probably will take my parents as a gift) Fiddler on the Roof, Stomp, Mamma Mia, great if like those Abba tunes of the 70's

SF Playhouse

I can't say enough about this playhouse, it's a great venue, close to some nice restaurants. The playhouse offers comfortable seating, affordable ticket prices and most of all some great talent in there productions.
