Best place in SF for value and quality of tables. When you need a break from the tables they also have some cool arcade games to play with. I haven't joined but they do have a club which will get you some good discounts off their already low prices. Any kind of food you may want is close by.

the pro's: nice bar, good pours for the buck, tables are in good shape. You will find a lot of students but there cool, even though there might be a wait for a table, I haven't seen anyone short fused. If you go early, you'll have a better chance on grabbing a table and at a lessor price. I like that they stay open late and they have a variet..

If you go on Fri/Sat eve, expect a decent wait for a table. This place is the place for drinking, hanging out with friends and shooting some pool. I like to get out there Tues or Wed, the table is cheap and its not as crowded. It just depends if I can round up some buddies to go boozing during the week.

I've been going here for years now. The tables are in good shape, the bartender is cool, they run good speaicals and the food is above average. I usually don't have a problem when it comes to street parking, I guess it depends when you go. You can also catch a game in your not into playing.

Hard to believe there's a place in SF you can go and not have a problem with parking. Family Billards is one of those, I like that it doesn't get a wild crowd, people just want to shoot pool. They have good beers on tap priced right. they have 18 or so tables, and for being around since the 60's this place is cool
