Hola Mexican Restaurant, Belmont

This place is tucked away in a retail shopping center. I've been to this one and the Burlingame location which I like more just because its more lively. The Belmont one is good for kicking back for happy hour or dinner, not a real wild place. The margi's are good, food comes out fast and is fresh. Most plates run in the 12-15 range.

I stop by now and then for happy hour during the week, luckily it goes until 7:00. The food is good, don't know if I'd classify as authentic, but better than Chevy's. They have most of the standard Mexican dishes, prices are moderate from 12-16 depending upon what you get. Service is good, always fast with the chips and water. Frozen maragritt..

really good fish tacos' better than the place that starts with a W. Always fresh and they usually run a special sometimes if you buy 3. I like that there service is no-nonsense, they get your order and get your food to you fast. Even if you don't like fish tacos they are far far better than Taco Bell

don't expect a lucious dinning establishment - do expect some great tasting authentic Mexican food folks as it doesn't get any more authentic than this. The tacos are my favorite, their loaded with meat and cheap.

If your in the downtown area of SJ and looking for some good fast burritos or tacos at a good price this is the place. I don't know how they cook the meat but it's very tender and juicy. Best of all they really promote their business. Almost every day that I've been in there's a daily special. I haven't but will try one of their breakfast sand..
