Lassen National Park
Red Bluff, CA
Went there for a long weekend a few weeks back. Great views, we stayed at a motel close by since we wanted to be lazy and not camp. We did the hike to the summit. They say it last exploded in the early 1900's. You can see Mount Shasta in the distance along with other extinct volcanoes. It's about 5 1/2 hour drive just take 5 to Red Bluff, then go East on Hwy 36.
