Just got back from 8 wonderful days in Sicily. It's a great historic destination, the people are wonderful, very friendly. We stayed in Positano on the Amalfi Coast which is on a exotic hilltop village.
We also went to Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast. This city is picturesque seaside town, great pasta & seafood. Also took in the opera there. Lots of unique arts, cuisine, architecture to keep you going. We probably could of stayed in one place the whole time, look forward to going back. If your thinking about Italy, do some research, on the Southern part - you won't be disappointed.
