Weekend Idea

Well, with a January wedding anniversary and that it's too early in the year to take time off we decided to spend some winter time in Santa Cruz. Honestly, we both love walking the beach in the winter time, I feel like we had it to ourselves. We spent a lovely weekend at the Dream Inn. It's been awhile since we stayed there, it's really upscale now. Great food in the restaurant, the rooms were all remodeled. I don't know how long Joie de Vivre took it over but they did a great job on making it a boutique hotel. We had a great room with a private balcony. I thought it was priced right, but hey it's our 4 anniversary so who cares about money.
